Practice for good thoughts
and good feelings
I am a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, relationship-dynamic sex therapist and systemic counsellor. My pronouns are he/him. I support clients in stressful situations, especially with regard to sexuality and relationships. An important principle for me is the integration of body and psyche. As a queer therapist, I have in-depth knowledge of LGBTQIA+ issues and minority stress.
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact me by email, phone or via the contact form.
As an individual, couples and sex therapist and counsellor, I meet people in an appreciative and non-judgmental way. My practice is a safe space for people of all colours, regardless of social background, sexual or gender identity. The goal of my work is the well-being and satisfaction of my clients on a psychological, physical and interpersonal level.
In my practice I work acceptingly with what is there. The current situation is our starting point. If necessary, we look back; however, it is more important for me to look forward: What should be achieved? What is a desirable goal? How do we get there and what is holding you back? What values are important to you? Together with my clients, I create a space for new developments in therapy based on the client’s own resources.
I have a two-year training as a systemic counsellor, as well as a couple therapist/sexual therapist. My therapeutic approach is therefore systemic. However, I also like to combine this with methods of the so-called third wave in behavioural therapy (ACT, CFT, EFT) and internal family systems therapy (IFS), in which I am trained. A special focus of my work is affirmative individual, couple and sex therapy on topics such as non-traditional forms of relationships (e.g. polyamory, patchwork families), BDSM and kink. This also includes work on queer issues with people from the LGBTQIA* spectrum. Regular further training, collegial exchange and supervision are indispensable building blocks of good quality therapeutic work for me.
Please note that my license to practice psychotherapy is based on the German „Heilpraktikergesetz“. Therefore, I am unfortunately unable to bill the public health insurance. You must pay for your sessions yourself. Should you have a private health insurance, please talk to your insurance company about the possibility of covering therapy costs. The costs listed below include any applicable VAT. If you are in financial difficulties, please contact me and we will find a solution.
Sessions can also take place online by prior arrangement.
